Shamrock Shake! … You know what I am talking about, the one we all love during St. Patty’s day from McDonalds. The thing is it is loaded with calories! A small size has 460 calories. So to help you cut the craving we came up with out on healthy, lower calorie, protein packed Shamrock Shake! Check out the recipe below!
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or other milk of choice)
1 handful of baby spinach leaves
¼ of an avocado
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
¼ teaspoon peppermint extract*
1 cup ice
Blend all the ingredients up in an electric blender and enjoy!
